Cocoa pods are naturally dried and burned into a mineral-rich plant ash, which is then blended with nourishing oils and butters to create the distinctive soap known for its deep, gentle cleanse. Originally treasured for everyday cleansing, African Black Soap has been passed down through generations as an essential part of daily skincare rituals.

This soap is especially meaningful to me because my skincare journey started long before TB Soapery. I’ve struggled with my skin since my teenage years, so I’m always researching and experimenting with time-honored ingredients that have been appreciated for generations. African Black Soap is one of those ingredients that I was excited to incorporate into my facial soap collection, alongside Aloe Vera, Honey, Colloidal Oatmeal, and Kaolin Clay to create a facial bar I genuinely look forward to using every day.

Our handcrafted facial bar builds on that tradition by combining African Black Soap with Aloe Vera Juice, Honey, Colloidal Oatmeal, and Kaolin Clay for an even more luxurious cleansing experience. Aloe Vera adds a refreshing touch, while Honey helps attract moisture to the skin.
